Softball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield lost against Indianapolis Lutheran back in June of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals lost 11-4 to the Saints. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Addison Lafree made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Bloomfield is on the road again on Saturday to play Terre Haute South Vigo at 11:00 a.m. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Braves have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they will be taking part in a tournament against Northview at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
