Basketball Recap: Erick Takes a Loss

Erick lost against Corn Bible Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Erick Bearcats took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders.

Erick's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Corn Bible Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Erick Bearcats face off against the Duke Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Erick is facing Duke at the right time seeing as Duke is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Corn Bible Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Canute at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Corn Bible Academy sitting on six straight wins and Canute on seven.
