Soccer Recap: Wellington School Comes Up Short

Wellington School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wellington School of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Wellington School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Wellington School is taking a road trip to square off against Tree of Life Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloom-Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Amanda-Clearcreek's defense better be ready for this one: Bloom-Carroll have averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season.
