Basketball Recap: Union Piles Up the Points Against Highland

Union's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Highland Rams 49-20. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-24 back in December of 2024.

Union got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sophie Carr out in front who posted 17 points in addition to five boards and four steals. What's more, Carr also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Lexi Stahl was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine steals.

Union's record is now 3-10. As for Highland, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-38 loss against East Hardy on the 6th. Highland has also already played their next match (against Eastern Montgomery), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
