Volleyball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Lyle/Pacelli lost against Randolph back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Athletics fell 2-0 to the Rockets. The Athletics' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Jada Leif and Marlie Klankowski, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Autumn Drennan and her 15 assists. Klankowski also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Carleigh Rymer, racking up two apiece.

Lyle/Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Randolph, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyle/Pacelli will host Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Randolph, they will welcome Triton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Rockets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
