Soccer Game Preview: Eastside vs. Spalding

Eastside hasn't had much luck against Spalding recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Eastside will look to defend their home pitch against Spalding at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Eastside's offense. They came up short against North Oconee on Friday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Eastside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while North Oconee are ranked 17th).

Meanwhile, Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to Fayette County. Spalding were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-2.

Eastside's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Spalding, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
