Basketball Recap: South Brunswick Cougars vs. North Brunswick Scorpions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hoggard, South Brunswick was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged the North Brunswick Scorpions out 44-41. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-39 back in January.
South Brunswick's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Meryn Deutsch led the charge by putting up 19 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Adyson Bell, who posted 13 points.
