Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison suffered their closest loss since April 16, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Pocatello Thunder by a score of 8-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 on Saturday.

Madison now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Pocatello, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Madison is taking a road trip to take on Highland at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pocatello, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Thunder Ridge at 4:00 p.m.
