Basketball Game Preview: McKenzie Rebels vs. Montgomery Central Indians

The McKenzie Rebels and the Montgomery Central Indians will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

McKenzie is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Westview just ended the team's three-game winning streak last Monday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 73-47.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montgomery Central). They were the clear victor by a 67-46 margin over Fort Campbell on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Indians have posted since January 10th.

McKenzie now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Montgomery Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Everything came up roses for McKenzie against Montgomery Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 65-37 win. Will McKenzie repeat their success, or does Montgomery Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
