Basketball Recap: Pineville Comes Up Short

Pineville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-36 loss at the hands of the Tioga Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rebels have suffered since December 7, 2024.

Pineville's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Tioga, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Pineville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-32 defeat against Avoyelles Charter on the 6th. As for Tioga, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 32-28 loss against Glenmora on the 6th.
