There's no place like home for Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They secured a 36-30 W over the Monticello Panthers on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 17-10 defeat.

When it comes to explaining why Monticello lost, don't look at Morgan Hutchins. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and six boards.

Liberty's record is now 4-7. As for Monticello, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will welcome Beacon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Beacon will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monticello, they will take on Goshen Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Monticello is facing Goshen Central at the right time seeing as Goshen Central is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
