Softball Recap: Hope Comes Up Short

After flying high against Camden Fairview last Friday, Hope came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 11-1 to the Nashville Scrappers on Tuesday. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Scrappers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

With the loss, Hope broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6. As for Nashville, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Nashville will welcome Genoa Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hope will be paying especially close attention to the Scrappers' game: after the Scrappers faces off against the Dragons, they'll take on Hope again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
