Canfield has gone 9-1 against Howland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cardinals will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Canfield is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Canfield's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Bamberg-Ehrhardt 13-0. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Howland came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Alliance by a score of 5-1 on Wednesday.

Madison Schmitz was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Mary Moy was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Howland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alliance struck out seven times.

Howland now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Canfield, their win bumped their record up to 13-1-1.

Canfield skirted past Howland 7-6 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
