Baseball Recap: Isaiah Olivares Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Donna North

Harlingen South won against Porter last Thursday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Hawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Donna North Chiefs a 12-0 shutout. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Aundr? Guadarrama made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, earning three RBI and one run.

In other pitching news, Richard Pizano looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Isaiah Olivares was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Harlingen South's record is now 21-5. As for Donna North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.
