Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee's tournament run continued when they took on Henry Clay on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Elise Martinez and Karina Broitman, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Isabella Podesta and her seven assists. Charlotte Laskos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chattahoochee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Henry Clay, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Chattahoochee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Tallulah Falls on the 13th. As for Henry Clay, they will square off against Boyle County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
