Softball Recap: Ridge Community Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Ridge Community entered their tilt with Haines City on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 22-7 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-4 on March 5th.

Rihanna Jones was a standout: she fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Michelle Camacho, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ridge Community kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

Ridge Community's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Haines City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Ridge Community and Haines City will both be playing Lakeland the next time they take the field. The Hornets will head out to face the Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bolts will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
