Baseball Recap: Hughson Huskies vs. Livingston Wolves

Hughson stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Livingston Wolves as the Hughson Huskies made off with an 11-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for Hughson who now have ten in a row.

Max Mankins made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Mankins has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Mankins was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Jayden Espinoza was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Paul Wagner, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
