Volleyball Recap: Harry Hughes Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Naperville North

Hinsdale Central won the last time they faced Naperville North and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Huskies.

Hinsdale Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harry Hughes, who had three digs and one block. Hughes is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last nine games he's played. Dane Beringer also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Hinsdale Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Naperville North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinsdale Central will face off against York at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Naperville North, they will head out to face off against Metea Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
