After a string of five wins, Ravenswood's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the South Harrison Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Ravenswood sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 15-11.

Ravenswood's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for South Harrison, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ravenswood will square off against Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Harrison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Robert C. Byrd at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
