On Friday, New Bedford faced Dartmouth in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The New Bedford Whalers walked away with a 64-56 win over the Dartmouth Indians. The victory was nothing new for the Whalers as they're now sitting on six straight.

New Bedford has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Dartmouth, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Dartmouth beat New Bedford by a score of 62-41 on Saturday.
