Basketball Recap: Choctaw County Takes a Loss

Choctaw County lost against East Webster back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Choctaw County Chargers took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Webster Wolverines.

Despite the loss, Choctaw County still got an impressive performance from Caleb Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Cunningham's 11th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kj Cork, who posted 12 points.

Choctaw County's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for East Webster, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Choctaw County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Webster, they will be playing at home against Belmont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
