Volleyball Recap: Wolcott Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wolcott lost against Holy Cross back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Crusaders, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Wolcott had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Wolcott's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Holy Cross, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wolcott is set to challenge their familiar foe Ansonia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holy Cross will square off against rival St. Paul Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
