Douglas County's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Legend Titans 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted against the Titans since April 11, 2016.

Douglas County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Kiehn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Douglas County's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Legend, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
