Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Academy Eagles vs. Genoa Christian Academy

The Liberty Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to challenge Genoa Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Genoa Christian Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Liberty Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Liberty Christian Academy got the win against Grandview Heights by a conclusive 3-0.

Liberty Christian Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Genoa Christian Academy came up short against Northside Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0. Genoa Christian Academy hasn't had much luck with Northside Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Genoa Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-16.

Genoa Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Liberty Christian Academy skirted past Genoa Christian Academy 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
