Basketball Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

Farmersville lost against Summit Charter Collegiate Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Farmersville Aztecs fell 56-47 to the Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmersville will face off against Granite Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Granite Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Farmersville likes a good challenge. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
