Soccer Recap: Luling Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Luling's offense. They came up short against the Cole Cougars on Friday, falling 8-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luling's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cole, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luling will challenge La Vernia at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. La Vernia will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Luling surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cole, they will face off against Young Men's Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cole is facing Young Men's Leadership Academy at the right time seeing as Young Men's Leadership Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
