Soccer Recap: Sheyenne Falls Short Against Ranked Red River

Sheyenne faced Red River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Roughriders, falling 3-0. Sheyenne were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Red River earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Sheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 11-4-2. As for Red River, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-4 record this season.

Sheyenne will venture away from home to challenge Mandan at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Red River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
