Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Langley). They came out on top against the Edison Eagles by a score of 12-7 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Saxons considering their one-run performance the game before.

Langley pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Coming up, Langley will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Yorktown at 6:30 p.m. As for Edison, they will challenge Justice at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
