Basketball Recap: Genoa-Kingston Cogs vs. Marengo Indians
After flying high against Woodstock last Monday, Genoa-Kingston came back down to earth. The Genoa-Kingston Cogs took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marengo Indians on Saturday. The Cogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 42-39.

Despite the loss, Genoa-Kingston still got an impressive performance from Ally Poegel, who went 13-for-28 to rack up 32 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.
