Soccer Recap: Laguna Hills Victorious

Laguna Hills had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Summit SkyHawks 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Hawks were the better team in the second half.

Colin Auten and Cristian Mojica scored both of Laguna Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Laguna Hills' victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Summit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Laguna Hills wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Godinez Fundamental on the 15th. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
