Volleyball Recap: Winter Haven's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winter Haven lost to Haines City back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Hornets.

Winter Haven was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Winter Haven will venture away from home to square off against Bartow at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Haines City, they will head out on the road to face off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bloodhounds will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
