Bailey Payne Game Report: @ Belmont

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Bailey Payne stepped things up a notch to give Nettleton the 'W'. Payne wasn't messing around, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with two or fewer walks.

Payne's strong effort led Nettleton over Belmont and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
