It was a Battle of the Birds when Alta took on Skyline on Thursday. The Hawks blew past the Eagles 36-25. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Taylor Johnson, who went 5-for-6 with one home run, six runs, and three stolen bases. She also brought in six RBI, marking her first of the season. Brielle Watson was another key player, going 4-for-8 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs.

Alta's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Alta will take on Enterprise at 11:00 a.m. on the 12th. As for Skyline, they will face off against Hunter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
