Bristow lost against Webster back in February of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bristow Pirates fell to the Webster Warriors 53-48. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brian Hopgood. Jr., who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. With that strong performance, Hopgood. Jr. is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Ty Bishop was another key player, putting up five points along with 11 boards and four steals.

Even though they lost, Bristow smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Webster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Terrance Franklin, who posted 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Kimble, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 21 points.

Bristow's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Webster, their record is now 5-7.

Bristow is facing Sperry at the right time seeing as Sperry is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Webster, they will take on Mercy School Institute at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
