Basketball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

Reading lost to Quincy back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rangers lost 51-26 to the Orioles. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Reading still got an impressive performance from Bria Wiler, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quincy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miley Poindexter, who shot 46% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Those four steals gave Poindexter a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyl Musielewicz, who posted 15 points.

Reading's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Quincy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Reading didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-32 defeat against Union City on the 5th. As for Quincy, they have also already played their next game, a 51-32 victory against Maple Valley on the 5th.
