Basketball Game Preview: North Oconee Titans vs. Athens Christian Eagles

The North Oconee Titans will face off against the Athens Christian Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Oconee comes in on six and Athens Christian on three.

North Oconee is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Madison County: they outscored them in every quarter. North Oconee took down Madison County 59-40 on Friday. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 177th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Athens Christian strolled past Loganville Christian Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-33.

North Oconee pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Athens Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.
