Softball Recap: South Lafourche Comes Up Short

South Lafourche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Central Lafourche Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-2 back in February.

South Lafourche's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Central Lafourche, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Lafourche will host Terrebonne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Lafourche, they will welcome Morgan City at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
