Basketball Recap: Camden County Wildcats vs. Valdosta Wildcats
The Camden County Wildcats can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. Everything went their way against Valdosta as Camden County made off with a 56-34 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Camden County who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Taylor Rietveld, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Akeelah Bryan, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Camden County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Valdosta, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.
Camden County will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowndes is on a ten-game streak of home wins, the Wildcats a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Valdosta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
