Softball Recap: Chiefland Indians vs. Williston Red Devils

Chiefland was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Williston apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.

Chiefland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Fisher, who went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

On Williston's side, Nevaeh Hayes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Hayes has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
