Basketball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Takes a Loss

Kasson-Mantorville lost against Goodhue back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kasson-Mantorville Komets fell just short of the Goodhue Wildcats by a score of 72-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (66), the Komets still had to take the loss.

The loss snapped Kasson-Mantorville's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record. As for Goodhue, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Kasson-Mantorville has already played their next game, an 81-78 win against Como Park on the 18th. As for Goodhue, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-41 victory against Cotter on the 18th.
