Volleyball Game Preview: Crowley County Chargers vs. Cheraw Wolverines

The Crowley County Chargers will face off against the Cheraw Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Crowley County: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Cheraw has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road also dating back to last season.

Crowley County came up short against Holly on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Crowley County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Holly work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Cheraw came up short against Evangel Christian Academy on Saturday and fell 3-1.

While Cheraw ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-27, 25-22.

Crowley County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Cheraw, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
