Recap: Rutland Hurricanes vs. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers
After flying high against the Wilkinson County Warriors last Friday, the Rutland Hurricanes came back down to earth. Rutland fell 59-46 to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on Tuesday.
When it comes to explaining why Rutland lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keadon Knight. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points. The game was Knight's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Taylor, who scored 8 points.
Rutland now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rutland won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pike County at 7:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
