La Cueva is a perfect 6-0 against Santa Fe since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Demons at 11:00 a.m. La Cueva will be strutting in after a victory while Santa Fe will be coming in after a defeat.

La Cueva is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Capital get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what La Cueva needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Capital from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Makena Hix led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe managed to keep up with Eldorado until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Demons came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Santa Fe in their meetings with Eldorado: they've now lost eight in a row.

La Cueva is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matches. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

La Cueva took their win against Santa Fe when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
