Basketball Game Preview: Ambassador Christian School Lions vs. Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles

The Ambassador Christian School Lions will face off against the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ambassador Christian School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.

Last Saturday, Ambassador Christian School got the win against Bull City Prep National by a conclusive 71-49.

JD Bowden was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten assists. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Judah King, who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Ambassador Christian School was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Uwharrie Charter Academy entered their contest against Eastern Randolph on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Uwharrie Charter Academy took an 84-77 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastern Randolph. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (62), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Uwharrie Charter Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3. As for Ambassador Christian School, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
