Van Horn is 4-0 against El Paso HomeSchool since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Van Horn Eagles will take on the El Paso HomeSchool Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Van Horn and three for El Paso HomeSchool.

On Friday, Van Horn was beaten by Wink 68-20.

Meanwhile, El Paso HomeSchool suffered their biggest loss since March 8, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 60-35 to Rose of Sharon. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1617th, while Rose of Sharon are ranked 793rd).

El Paso HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Van Horn, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Van Horn didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against El Paso HomeSchool in their previous meeting on January 3rd, but they still walked away with a 43-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Van Horn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
