Basketball Recap: Glencoe-Silver Lake Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

Glencoe-Silver Lake's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down the Rockford Rockets 79-65. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 78-40 victory the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Glencoe-Silver Lake has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Rockford, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-2.

Glencoe-Silver Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-66 defeat against Watertown-Mayer on the 16th. Rockford has also already played their next game, a 59-52 loss against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted/Holy Trinity on the 16th.
