Soccer Game Preview: Warren Township vs. Rockford Auburn

The Warren Township Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Rockford Auburn Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockford Auburn took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Warren Township, who comes in off a win.

Warren Township was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Deerfield a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Rockford Auburn didn't have quite enough to beat Jefferson on Thursday and fell 3-2. Rockford Auburn haven't had much luck with Jefferson recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Adelein Halsted wasn't going to let Jefferson walk away unscathed as she scored both of Rockford Auburn's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Rockford Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Warren Township, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-2.
