Soccer Game Preview: William Penn vs. Red Lion

The William Penn Bearcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Red Lion Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

William Penn fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Northeastern on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that William Penn have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Red Lion got the win against South Western on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-2. Red Lion haven't had any issues with South Western recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

This is the second loss in a row for William Penn and nudges their season record down to 0-2. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two games. As for Red Lion, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
