Baseball Game Preview: Princeton Bulldogs vs. Hobbton Wildcats

The Princeton Bulldogs will square off against the Hobbton Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Princeton took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Rosewood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Princeton never let Rosewood get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one run.

Rosewood's batters probably weren't too happy with Andrew Allnutt, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up zero walks).

On the hitting side, Princeton's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cade Gurley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Hobbton put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Spring Creek as Hobbton made off with a 12-0 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Hobbton's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Princeton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
