Soccer Recap: Centaurus Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Centaurus had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks a 1-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Centaurus also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Gabriel Gonzalez.

Looking ahead, Centaurus will be playing at home against Lewis-Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Niwot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
